Work Programme

The Work Program consists of a series of collaborative initiatives that are carried out on an annual basis by SGATAR members.

  •  

SGATAR‘s Work Programme is an annual program of activities derived from discussions held at the Annual Meeting. The Working Groups develop recommendations for mutual action in key areas of concern. These initiatives are typically small-scale due to resource limitations. They include:

  • undertaking research projects
  • conducting regional surveys
  • developing training programs
  • preparing guidance materials
  • forming expert networks.

All SGATAR members are asked to contribute time and expertise towards the completion of the Work Programme and a progress report is given at the Annual Meeting the following year. The Work Program is overseen by the Head Forum and administered by the Taskforce.
